Antonnette Cappa (also known as Cappa) graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Distinction from Western University in 2015. She has practised as a Registered Nurse for over 5 years and specializes in sexual and reproductive health. Her interests have garnered her experience at Planned Parenthood Toronto as a volunteer Peer Sex Educator, a Sexual Health Nurse at the Bay Centre for Birth Control and a Relief Sexual Health Counsellor at the Hassle-Free Clinic’s Women/Trans Clinic. Cappa joined the HIV Prevention Lab in November 2020 to take on the role of Research Nurse. She is excited to participate in work involving gay, bi and other men who have sex with men’s sexual health, and commits to taking an approach to care that is individualized, inventive and strategizes around risk reduction.
