The HIV Prevention Lab’s Clinical Psychology grad students  – Tyler, Natalie, and Marie – trekked down to Boston this past March for the Society for Sex Therapy & Research (SSTAR) 40th Annual Meeting to learn from other sex researchers and for some good old fashioned lab bonding. The theme of this year’s conference was “Healthy Sexuality as a Human Right: Making Sex Therapy Available to Diverse Populations”

Natalie presented a poster examining cognitive behavioral therapy for social anxiety and sexual communication among gay men, with data from our pilot Sexual Confidence study.

It was a very enlightening and engaging conference, and we’re all very excited for next year’s annual meeting happening in Chicago next April.
