Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (MSM) consistently comprise half of new yearly HIV infections in Canada. To respond to the HIV epidemic, Dr. Hart’s work creates HIV prevention and sexual health promotion interventions for Canadian MSM in order to reduce HIV transmission in Canada and beyond. Dr. Hart has published over 105 articles and book chapters with a focus on HIV risks and prevention. Dr. Hart is a highly productive and well-funded researcher whose work has had significant impact both scientifically and in the community.
